Open Question: Leporinus fasciatus swimming backwards?

is this normal for them i just got him a couple of hours ago. hes been swimming slow and turns his tail sideways when other fish approach him. also hes just staying close the top of the tank. there is this guy that i have been crushing on alot but he isnt around anymore and probably will never be i heard that he got 3 job offers out of the country and is leaving for a very long time, if not for ever im worried that he will find 3 girlfriends for each job that he has because he is always successful in life and makes people jealous everywhere he goes, people are just squirming out of jealously. he drove around in his brand new ferrari at school and some dudes just stared and were like 'duuuhhhhh' and they looked dumb baisically anywyas, my crush just stepped on the gas and did a burnout in front of their face and splashed mud every over them so it was fun to watch my crush also bought a jet airplane and he said that he would take me out ot lunch in paris from new york. his jet is faster than the concord and goes 4x the speed of sound so we can travel around really quickly and receive anywhere we'd like my curhs has luxury cars in every major city and his home has a big golf course and a huge aquarium for whales, sharks and octopuses women arrive over and they swim in the tank too so it's great to look what do you think about my crush and why wont he ask me out?

Open Question: Is there anyone who is FOR timeline and wants everyone to have it? WHY?

how i look it is i was very glad with facebook, and then i signed up for groove shark, they gave me an option to put grooveshark on my TIMELINE, i was thinking..how? i dont have timeline, so i clicked no. i go check my facebook then, and look that i have timeline and that its going live on the 20th? what gives them any rights whatsoever to change MY profile over to timeline, when they didnt even fuckking ask??? i cant look it in another other view except that facebook severly fucked up and took away rights as a user... i wouldnt mind if it wasn't such a shitttt design, but its my birthday & i cant look the normal post-by-post view of my friends wallposts, its every in a little box at the bottom of my page.... on the first day i actually cried but then i thought i'll receive used to it, now, im crying again... i HATE ITTTTTTTTTT and ive used facebook and depended on it since 2008.. i cant just delete it

Open Question: Has anyone ever actually seen or encountered a confrontation between a Bottled-Nose dolphin and an Alligator?

I live on water. We have a "resident" bottlenose dolphin, and from time to time a stray alligator. I "know" dolphins can kill sharks, but does anyone have any "real" evidence on whether or not they can handle an alligator? If you're just speculating, please don't bother to answer.

I'm a 20 year old lady. I am determined, well driven, ambitious. I'm artistic, creative, good at drawing, writing, reading, photography, and history. I'm okay at science. I'm not good at math, technology or anything mechanical. I graduated high school with honors, and I was in several AP classes. I crave adventure, bungee jumping, sky diving, swimming with sharks, roller-coasters. I want to be a detective (Police officer first of course) later in life or FBI. I want to be challenged mentally and physically. I don't care about getting my hands dirty. I don't want to be in an office every day. I have a high pain tolerance. I am single, don't really have a family, so deployments are fine. Which branch do you think would fit my personality and goals the most?

Open Question: What small boat should I get?

Hello, I am thinking about getting like a tiny boat. It needs to go on the roof of my car and I was thinking either: Kayak, Canoe, Rooftop tinny, Rubber ducky or some tiny boat thing. I need something that I can row with a double headed paddle and I am going to be putting a 4 hp outboard maybe an outboard with even more power. Open Question: Where can i watch the Canadian version of Dragon's den (aka Shark tank)?

Canada has a version of abc's Shark Tank called Dragon's Den. Its also in the UK and various other countries. I prefer the canadian one because its almost the same cast as Shark tank. Anyway i absolutely adore the show but its close impossible to find. You cant buy the seasons online, and only a slim few are available on youtube. Does anyone know a way to watch every the episodes? Open Question: one of my cichlids was killed, who is the suspect?

Open Question: Bala shark sick please help now!?

I have a cycled fish tank with 2 balas among many other fish. One of them died yesterday, I thought he had just swam into glass by accident because he just became loopy very suddenly, couldnt swim then died. No other symptoms. Today I bought another for the first one to have a mate but when I put the new one in to acclimate I looked at the old one and he has a much darker colour on the top half of him and he seems to have some possible sores on the top of his eyes. They look sparkley almost but a bit pink too about 1 cm long each. He also has what I can only describe to be, two strands coming out out of his mouth that nice of look like dead skin...please help he is my favourite shark. I don't have a hospital tank and I'm in a wheel seat due to broken leg so I can't receive out to receive one for him, any and every suggestions needed and appreciated!

Once i read a manga about a girl who went to work in an aquarium (i think) which had a sea animal trainer who was training a shark! this shark really liked the trainer and was whith him since he was a kid. In the end of the story the girl discovers that she helped the trainer to rescue the shark on the beach but she lost her memories and never recovered that day. And it’s akin to similar behavior in certain humans who always have to keep their minds preoccupied to prevent them from actually dwelling on their past actions? Is it a legit condition? I remember watching the Sopranos and the main character, Tony Soprano, the arguably immoral Boss of the New Jersey Crime Family and protagonist of the show, was forced to temporarily stay low in the everyday, mundane existence of the office lifestyle. This slow-paced environment caused him to receive these weird rashes and overall increased irritability. Then I remember he was in therapy with his Dr. Melfi and she asks him “Do you know why a shark has to keep moving?” And then she goes on to theorize that like a shark that regularly takes part in vicious, violent behavior to maintain its survival and instantly goes back on the move, Tony also constantly has to be on the move so that he doesn’t allow himself to dwell on past transgressions. Or something along the lines of that. Does anybody know what this condition is called or if it even exists or I remembered it correctly?
